Situated on a busy working farm in a wonderful rural position amongst hop fields and orchards, Finlay Cottage has all the ingredients for a memorable holiday. A spacious private wing of the owners country farmhouse offering generous accommodation over two floors for families or friends.
The area has plenty to keep visitors amused and entertained and for children you couldn’t wish for more: steam train rides, farm parks, BMX biking, pony rides, amusements parks and miles of golden sand at Camber Beach (Blue Flag) perfect for building sandcastles, beachcombing for beautiful shells and kiting.
The double aspect lounge is on the first floor giving spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. Also on this floor are two bedrooms, one double, one twin, and family bathroom. The ground floor lobby entrance gives access to the stairs, a twin bedroom and the farmhouse style kitchen/diner complete with solid fuel Rayburn (winter months only) and a pantry with fridge freezer. Separate shower room with wash hand basin, w.c and automatic washing machine.
The fully enclosed garden allows children and pets to run around safely and is a great place for a family meal at the end of an exciting day. Guests are welcome to use the owners outdoor heated pool. (May/September).

| Findlay Cottage was very comfortable and Mrs Wheeler was very welcoming. Our granddaughter really enjoyed all the farm animals and it was great being able to exercise our dogs without leaving the farm area. Weather was good so we could enjoy the pool too. Would thoroughly recommend this for a family holiday, especially if you have pets. - JB England | |
