Hatmill Coach House, Brenchley, Kent.
Situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Hatmill Coach House occupies a wonderful tranquil position overlooking a stream and surrounded by gardens and woodland. Recently restored and modernised the Coach House is adjacent to the owners historic former watermill, which during the 18th Century became a centre for hat making, hence the name. A short stroll away is the picturesque village of Brenchley with traditional pub and post office/stores.
An ideal base to explore leafy country lanes, visit stately homes, enchanting castles and delightful gardens, play a leisurely round of golf, browse antique shops, lunch in one of the many picturesque villages near by or explore the historic towns of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone and Canterbury. The sea is not far away with the golden sands of Camber and the traditional family resort of Hastings a short drive away.
Venturing a little further, the heart of London is 45minutes away from nearby Paddock Wood (3 miles) and the ferry ports and channel tunnel are within easy reach.
The Coach House offers comfortable accommodation with rustic charm and character.
On the ground floor there is a cosy sitting/dining room and fitted kichen. Upstairs there is a double and twin bedroom, and separate bathroom with shower over bath. An additional feature on this floor is the large vaulted games room complete with table tennis table and spare bed.
Outside an amble up the drive will bring you to the private garden area overlooking the stream, a perfect spot to read a novel or just laze in the sun. You will very soon begin to unwind!
