The property is just a great place to stay! Situated right above the famous Pantiles, a bus stop right in front of the entrance, all conveniences needed for a long stay are in the apaartment, it’s as simple as that!
A living room with TV, DVD, CD-player, radio, nice sofa, dining table, writing desk and a nice view over the Pantiles. Nicely decorated room with lots of information / leaflets about the area. The only negative thing about this room is the big moldy spot above the dining table... But that could be easily repaired I guess.
The apartment also has a spacious bedroom also overlooking The Pantiles. A large wardrobe with extra bed linnen and towels, an ironing board, a vacuum cleaner, it’s all there!
The kitchen is well equiped and comes with a dish washer, washing machine, microwave, oven, fridge, gas cooker, hood, etc. All the things that you’ll need to cook, eat and drink are present in the kitchen! In the cupboard under the sink there were various detergents and washing liquids. So check this out before you go to the supermarket (only 8 minutes away, Sainsbury’s).
The bathroom was clean and also fully equiped and felt quite spacious too!
When we arrived we felt at home immediately! A fresh bunch of flowers in the living room, milk, butter, bread in the fridge and a fresh pack of coffee made us feel very welcome indeed!
The pubs in The Pantiles can be a bit noisy but when you close the windows or don’t go to bed before 11 pm than that shouldn’t be a big problem!
We had a great time staying at this apartment (that is located in a private housing project, so you share the front door and stairs with 7 others) and would absolutely recommend it to other couples who wish to visit Tunbridge Wells and the stunning area around it!
(The apartment is situated on the second floor, there’s no lift, keep that in mind when booking this nicely decorated and situated apartment) - Rv The Netherlands | | Very well equipped, and pleasant to stay in. Heating extremely efficient, so makes a good autumn/winter/off-season flat. Conveniently situated.
Note that control thermo on radiator in hallway is broken off, and has been for some time judging by the dirt on the break. - GL UK | |
