Eastbourne, East Sussex.

The elegant resort of Eastbourne nestles at the foot of the stunning South Downs, next to the famous Beachy Head national beauty spot with its famous chalk cliffs and lighthouse. An easy walk away from the heart of this charming town, situated in a quiet square, Beatrice House is a spacious townhouse ideal for business or holiday.

Beautiful award-winning Blue Flag beaches and top quality seawater offer excellent bathing facilities, making Eastbourne a first class beachside destination. Experience the thrill of riding the waves on a windsurfer, or sea kayak along the coast and enjoy the stunning scenery, or simply charter a boat and cast your rod in some of the best fishing grounds around - perhaps catching a mackerel for dinner?

For those after something a little different, join the locals and roller blade along the six-mile promenade beginning at the contemporary Sovereign Harbour.

Alternatively, for a slower pace stroll amongst the sleek yachts and boats moored there, stopping off to relax at one of the many alfresco bars and restaurants dotted along the harbour front. Or, hop onto an open top bus and enjoy the sights between the Pier and Beachy Head.

The summer open air concerts held in the Bandstand are not to be missed but as the sun goes down the town comes alive, offering a vibrant mix of nightlife from West End musicals and theatre productions to comedy and jazz clubs

Within a few minutes of leaving the town on foot, bike or car you are on the spectacular Downs. With three national trails right on the doorstep, walkers, horse riders and cyclists alike, can escape to the countryside and explore the great outdoors, just waiting to be discovered. Or, for a more leisurely activity the area boasts 11 golf courses within easy reach. Most notably being the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club, which sits on the beautifully scenic and very chalky landscape.

Yet with all this on the doorstep if you can tear yourself away, trains run from the station, which is less than a mile away, to the bustling city of London, - highly convenient for commerce or pleasure.

The house is welcoming and comfortable and offers small entrance lobby with cloakroom off, this is just perfect for sandy flip flops, buckets and spades, golf clubs or even surfboards! Spacious and sunny bright open plan lounge /dining room leads into well equipped kitchen and has attractive open tread stairs up to double, twin and single bedrooms. Family bathroom on also this floor and separate w.c. Guests can enjoy a rear patio to sit and dream in the sun with seagulls whirling overhead.
