Located on the edge of a typical East Sussex village and nestling alongside a working farm, this traditional farm outbuilding has recently been thoughtfully converted to provide two charming cottages with ample parking. Retaining some quintessential character, the cottages also offer breathtaking and uninterrupted views of rolling countryside – literally as far as the eye can see.
Bodle Street Green is a very small village (almost a hamlet), but for those families or couples who want a relaxing base, Stud Farm Stables is just the place to be. In the country and yet an easy drive to the coast with unspoilt beaches and all the fun of seaside towns, they offer the best of both worlds. Close to historic 1066 country with a multitude of ancient castles, tranquil gardens, picture book towns, adventure parks and zoos, steam trains and so much more, there is something to do for all ages and tastes.
Both cottages are similar in layout and furnishings with wooden floors and exposed beams throughout but each has a character of its own. Both have modern and fully equipped kitchens with airy and comfy open plan lounge/diner with stunning countryside views, here there is ample space for the average family to relax and enjoy. The corridor off provides access to two bedrooms and a tiled family bathroom with fitted shower over the bath. The tastefully decorated and furnished main bedrooms with double beds benefit from a featured floor to ceiling patio door allowing in floods of light. The compact second bedroom boasts two children's pine bunk beds adding a bit of excitement to their already holiday fun!
The front of the property is a grassed area and car parking. To the rear is a bricked patio with table, chairs and sun umbrella with a further fenced grassed area for children to play in total safety. However, take time to absorb the truly breathtaking views for a guaranteed stress busting cure and simply unbeatable scenery - whilst enjoying a glass or two of local wine or cider!
