This unique 17th Century barn is set within an area of outstanding natural beauty on the outskirts of the quaint village of Hunton and is the perfect setting for a holiday. With lovely walks around the village you can enjoy the quintessential English countryside - but take your time, linger a while in one of the many country pubs. Sip a drink and sample good local produce. Ideally placed for exploring Kent and Sussex with a journey time to London of 45 minutes and the Barn is a wonderful place to relax after a busy day.
This unusual holiday home, adjacent to the owners Grade II Listed barn, was originally used as stables for the main house. It has been thoughtfully converted to retain its charm and character and is tastefully furnished and equipped, providing the necessary modern day facilities.
Entrance is into an attractive hall, with a door leading into the main bedroom with en-suite shower room. Also from the hall are stairs to the character living rooms, which are heavily beamed with vaulted ceilings throughout.
The modern kitchen/diner has a good range of cupboards and work surfaces and is fully equipped. Incorporated in the kitchen is the dining table and chairs. An open beamed room divider leads to the comfortable lounge with two large sofas.
Stairs from the hall lead up to a uniquely designed first floor, with a further two sets of stairs running parallel and separated by open beams. One set leads to the stylish wood finished bathroom with bath, wash hand basin and w.c.
The other set of stairs leads to a further two cosy bedrooms. One bedroom has twin beds, a small built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers and the third has a single bed.
The well-tended mature garden, overlooks a small paddock., and offers a good degree of privacy for your to sit and enjoy the quite and lovely country air.
