Upchurch, Nr Sittingbourne, Kent.

Originally stables and tack room, The Old Stable has been thoughtfully converted and now offers a comfortable holiday-home for families and friends. Situated on a working farm and at the end of a winding country lane, the property nestles at the side of the owners farmhouse. Guests are very welcome to walk from the property over the adjoining countryside where lambs can be seen frolicking during Spring. Watch out for the beautiful resident Peacocks, which you may be lucky to see roosting in the summer evenings. Private fishing is also available ½ mile away over the estuary wall.

Nearby, the small village of Upchurch boasts not only a general store and pub but a golf course too. The popular "River Valley" golf course, constructed on 120 acres of undulating parkland has testing greens offering golfers a truly challenging round. The clubhouse has an excellent restaurant and heated indoor swimming pool, available to families of golfers playing the course.

The property is in an excellent location for touring the area with easy connection to the M2 motorway providing access to a myriad of local attractions and activities. For those who enjoy the sea, take a leisurely drive along the North Kent coastline where you will find the diverse seaside towns of Whitstable, Herne Bay and Margate. Alternatively London and all it has too offer is only 55 minutes away by train from nearby Rainham, for those visitors looking for a real change of pace.

Enter into The Old Stable via a large spacious traditional kitchen/ breakfast room with exposed beams, wooden units and quarry-tiled floor. Fully equipped with all you will need during your stay. Door leads to light and airy lounge/dining room with feature fireplace and wood burning stove. There is also a ground floor bathroom, with shower over bath, wash hand basin and w.c.

Stairs to first floor from the lounge lead up to a small landing with three separate doors all of which have a further small flight of stairs to each bedroom. There are four bedrooms, one double with a 4"6" bed, en-suite shower and door giving access to a single bedroom, and two further bedrooms with 4" double beds.

The private courtyard patio is an ideal spot for Mums and Dads to relax in the sound knowledge children are happily playing in the owners paddock adjoining the property.
