You will not need to wander far from the cottage to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside that is latticed with walks right from the door. The cottage is within easy driving distance of the enchanting town of Rye and just 10 miles from the dramatic Sussex Heritage coastline and numerous other attractions, including a wealth of historic houses. The wide-open skies and seascapes of the beaches at Winchelsea and Camber are only 3 and 6 miles away respectively.
For a taste of the French way of life Folkestone or Dover are 35 minutes away, or travel in style on the Eurostar to Paris only 2 hours away and you can lunch on the Champs à Elysées, from Ashford International Station [40 minutes away]. Alternatively the bright lights of London and all it has to offer can be reached in 75 minutes from nearby Battle station.
This beautifully restored property maintains its original style and character with inglenook fireplace, exposed stonewalls and beams providing a quiet retreat for two, whatever the time of year.
The charming spacious lounge leads through French doors to the private patio and garden.
