This delightful cottage offers a peaceful setting and yet is only a short walk away from the market town of Tonbridge, with its splendid 13th Century gatehouse and castle nestled beside the River Medway. The town also boasts a wide range of shops, pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities.
There is so much to do and see in the surrounding countryside peppered with pretty peaceful country villages and a wealth of historic properties and stunning gardens just waiting to be discovered. Why not leave the car behind and take the train to London, for great shopping or a West End show - just 45 minutes direct from Tonbridge Station. Alternatively for that Continental experience, consider the Eurostar from Ebbsfleet International Station, also only 40 minutes away.
The ground floor entrance leads into a light and airy open plan kitchen/diner/living room with natural colours mixed with cane and glass furnishings site perfectly with the flag stone floor complete with under floor heating. On this floor is the bathroom with bath, shower, wash hand basin and w.c.
Stairs from the main living area lead up to the two bedrooms; a double and twin both enjoying views over the gardens.
Outside the cottage is a secluded private patio overlooking the established gardens ideal for enjoying some unhurried time and maybe a glass of wine.
