This enchanting beamed cottage formerly an 18th Century Coach House has been beautifully converted, furnished to a high standard and is full of character throughout. Adjoining the owner's period home, set within 2 acres of stunning gardens and surrounded by picturesque countryside may well lead you to believe that you have travelled back in time to a far more leisurely era. Naturally, guests are encouraged to enjoy the superb gardens, a very special feature of the property!
Totally secluded yet just a short walk from the village pub and general store/post office but also an excellent base from which to explore the spectacular North Downs, the pretty coastal Cinque Port towns, Canterbury Cathedral or even Europe - 2 hours from nearby Ashford International Station.
The entrance leads to an attractive book-lined hallway and on into the well-equipped open plan kitchen/dining area featuring butler sink and original brick floor and beams. There is an adjoining utility room, cloakroom and back door that opens out to a pleasant sitting area.
The cosy beamed sitting room with subtle lighting, gas fired wood burner effect stove and comfortable seating is just the place to relax after a day of exploring.
From here you enter the impressive third single bedroom with beamed vaulted ceiling and en-suite shower. The charming double and twin bedrooms on the first floor also boast beamed vaulted ceilings and en-suite bathrooms.

There are two natural ponds within the garden together with a covered well. Children should be kept under strict supervision in the garden at all times in order to avoid accidents.

| Having never rented overseas before we were a bit nervous. The cottage was exactly what we wanted. A lovely sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. The owners were there to greet us and so helpful with maps of things to see in the area and directions to out of the way local places to eat. The cottage was located wonderfully for touring around Kent. We have traveled in England before but have always stayed at B&Bs.
