Postern Park Stable is an extraordinarily peaceful retreat, set within the extensive beautifully maintained grounds, complete with pond and streams, of the owners home. Located just outside the picturesque market town of Tonbridge, Postern Park Stable is the perfect place from which to explore the delights of the surrounding area, from stunning countryside and picturesque villages to grand houses and castles. Then there are of course all the gardens! With the South Coast and London only 45 minutes away you will be wishing you could stay longer.
This attractive detached stable has been thoughtfully converted and tastefully furnished throughout. It creates a feeling of exceptional comfort and character. The luxury of full under-floor heating makes this property an appealing all-year round holiday base.
Entrance is through a lobby into the hallway, which gives access to all the ground floor rooms. An attractive eat-in kitchen, with a spacious walk-in larder/utility room is well equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay. A charming double bedroom with a small seating area, plus a bathroom and shower room both with w.c and wash hand basin are also on the ground floor.
Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor lounge, a wonderful feature of the property with an abundance of exposed beams and luxury leather sofas. This beautifully appointed room offers the added benefit of flexible sleeping arrangements.
There is a pleasant patio adjoining the property with garden furniture for guests to sit and enjoy the wonderful views over the owners extensive orchards and surrounding countryside and guests are very welcome to enjoy the owners grounds.
Agents Note: No children under 9 with the exception of babies in arms.
All children should be supervised at all times in the garden due to unfenced stream and pond.
