If you are looking for a family holiday Primula Cottage is the perfect choice. Soft furnishings and furniture are comfortable yet practical, the garden is enclosed, cot and high chair are available, in fact a family home from home. Set in a quiet location amidst beautiful countryside on the edge of the picturesque village of Groombridge this attractive spacious semi-detached cottage offers guests a wonderful opportunity to explore this world famous Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The surrounding countryside is a treasure trove of history, beauty and gastro dining experiences. Stately homes, regal castles, inspirational gardens and countless other visitor attractions await your interest and attention. The more active will find lakes to sail, lanes to cycle, rivers to fish, bridleways to ride, footpaths to follow and rocks to climb. Harrison's Rocks, one of the most well known climbing edges in the South East, is only a short walk away from the cottage. Others can drive down quiet scenic byways to discover hidden villages, good local food and real ale in warm friendly country pubs.
Hop onto the Spa Valley Railway in the village, which will take to you to Royal Tunbridge Wells with its unrivalled combination of small specialist shops, designer boutiques and big high street names, making the town a real pleasure for shoppers of all tastes. Or with over 40,000 shops to choose from, London is a shopaholic's dream come true, and only about an hour away from nearby Tunbridge Wells or Eridge Stations.
You enter Primula through a lobby with stairs to the first floor and entrance into the kitchen/breakfast room. Also on the ground floor are cloakroom/ utility room, a separate dining room and a charming sitting room with French door leading out to a large tranquil garden, where down at the bottom you will find the patio; a virtual suntrap, as it catches the sun all day.
A twin bedroom and one single bedroom with stow-away bed for an additional child, along with family bathroom complete with bath and separate shower cubicle, are on the first floor. Stairs lead to the second floor, where you will find a double bedroom and an adjoining small baby room with cot and changing mat.
The wonderfully large child friendly garden is great for family outdoor meals, yet spacious enough for “Mum” to find a quiet corner with a good book and glass of wine and enjoy the amazing views.

We felt very comfortable - the primula is a very familiar and cosy house. To come back after a busy day was wonderful - we estimated the garten very much. Fazit: very very content - everything perfect.
